The competition has three categories: Web, Mobile, and AP, and each of the three winners will receive a prize package worth almost $4,000 and includes a copy of the Adobe CS 3 Web Premium Bundle, a one year premium subscription to Lynda.com's training materials. I'm also personally giving away a Nabaztag/tag bunny and an iPod Touch to each of the winners. Update: Burak Kalayci has just announced that he will be donating a copy of ASV to each of the winners. Thanks, man!
I can't wait to see the wonderful things you create with SWX and enter into the contest!
Special thanks to our sponsors, Adobe UK and Lynda.com.
For full details, see the swxformat.org/contest.

Hey Aral,
it´s been a while.
Was working on some projects with SWX to get it to know better! It´s still just awesome.
The contest looks great and I hope with it the SWX-Community will keep growing and new cool stuff is added.
Btw. if found this in the contest section:
“Public voting will take place from October 29th - October 4th, 2007.”
Should be November, right?
Cheers
Hi,
what do you mean with “Flash Player (6 …)” ?
Should the flash movie runs on the player 6-9, or could it run for example only on flash player 8 and 9.
@Ruben: Hey man, glad to hear you’re still SWXing
And thanks for the kind words — so happy to know that you’re finding it fun. I just fixed the typo you reported, btw! (Thanks, again!)
@Sebastian: Apologies if it was confusing — I just rephrased it on the site. Basically, it just has to play back in any version of the Flash Player (for web) and in Flash Lite 2.0 and/or 2.1 for the mobile category. (In other words, don’t submit a Java applet is all I’m sayin’)
I’m new to SWX and I’m loving it. Thank you Aral and everyone else involved for such a useful tool. One question - can submissions for the contest target the FL 3.0 player (as in Chumby?).
Hi Clark,
It’s so cool to hear that you’re having fun with SWX! Of course you can target FL 3.0
Can’t wait to see what you’re going to enter!
I’ve got a question: is there a limitation on entries per category?
Hi Michaël,
There’s no limitation on the number of entries per category or in total so feel free to submit as many as you like
